Skum

Skum is a crewman aboard Lunar Storm. He is a quick-witted chancer, always looking to strike a deal, make a quick buck, or get ahead. As such, he is utterly untrustworthy, which he freely admits and the rest of the crew are aware of. He takes his name from the first word he remembers being called as a young child.

His tattoos bear testament to some of the strange creatures he has encountered on his voyages and to his affinity for the darker Ancestors. Skum does not speak openly of the latter, but has been known to utter vague hints and equivocal statements if questioned when deep in his cups.

Skum has a strong sense of self-preservation. In a hostile situation, his instinct is to try to talk his way out of trouble, or simply run away, abandoning his companions if needs be.

Skum does not use armour. His prmary weapon is his war hammer, which he calls Mister Bash. For both offence and defence, he prefers to rely on his powers of Incantation.
