Deathman

Deathman is the ultimate barbarian, and has picked up the moniker "the Unkillable" due to his surviving every battle he has been in - and that is far more than most. A pirate captain, he lives for Chaos, and is a fervent worshipper of the Chaos Ancestor, Crom. At The Gathering of 1118, he was appointed a General in the Armies of Teutonia by the Skathen, Badrat.

Deathman is Master of Das Krakenfodder, named after the fate that befell a former comrade, Facesmasher. He is also the war leader of The Scourge in land battles and coastal raids. Das Krakenfodder has sails made from flayed skin and skulls dangling from the rigging. A galley crewed by Berserkers, her hull bleeds constantly and groans with the cries of damned souls. She is equipped with an iron ram decorated with the beak of a dead kraken. The rest of its carcass is draped and nailed along her timbers. She is permanently surrounded by a school of sharks.

Deathman is utterly unpredictable, and is known to plunge into a melee with no idea who the combatants are and what they are fighting over! He is quite taciturn, and often pronounces "Such is the nature of Chaos" or "Crom wills it" when something unexpected occurs, be it at Deathman's instigation or not.

He wears black armour, richly decorated with gems, the marks of Chaos and offerings to Crom, red pantaloons and Chaos-etched kirtle. Sometimes he dons a black helmet with a hinged visor and red feathers, at other times he swaps this for a terrifying war mask.

Deathman has access to a variety of weapons, which he picks according to his whim. They include his double-headed battleaxes, Wrath and Ruin. As a member of the Armourers' Guild, he is able to forge and reforge enchanted armour, and maintains Mercurius' kit.

At The Gathering of 1121, Deathman became an Awakened human.
